Activision launches a mobile phone version of the popular Call of Duty shooter series in partnership with Tencent. Call of Duty Mobile will be released for iOS and Android devices and will be playable for free. Interested parties can now register for a beta. When the finished version in the stores will be available for download is open.
Call of Duty is being developed by Tencents Studio Timi, which specializes in mobile games. Activision acts as a publisher. The mobile version of Call of Duty is also a multiplayer first-person shooter. Players can choose from the series known characters and weapons.
